NBC is delaying the scheduled March return of Jerry Seinfeld’s The Marriage Ref, which had been set to air Sundays at eight this spring. Instead, new reality competition America’s Next Great Restaurant will air in that slot starting March 6.

Giraldo’s comedic timing increased the humor of the show, but a few critics wondered how he’d do as a judge after just finishing up his second divorce. Greg, who’s also NBC’s host of ‘The Last Comic Standing,’ did often have a different opinion from the other judges on the panel, Jerry Seinfield, Tom Papa and Gwyneth Paltrow. But was his opinion authentic, or to increase his comedic effect? Is it possible he’s a little soured after just finishing up his second divorce? Watch the video below and decide!

It’s a common problem for couples: one person has a really good friend of the opposite sex, and the partner is skeptical and jealous of him/her. On ‘The Marriage Ref’ (Thu., 10PM ET on NBC), guest judge Jay Leno shared that he and his wife of 30 years had this issue as well — though with a twist.

“I had a friend who was a stripper named Silver Moon,” he explained to host Tom Papa. “Now Silver Moon was my friend. We never had a relationship; I would go to her for guidance. My wife tended to frown on Silver Moon, so we are no longer friends.”

Hollywood film star Gwyneth Paltrow is to serve as a guest panelist on the relationship reality series “The Marriage Ref,” NBC announced. The Oscar-winning star of “Shakespeare in Love,” “Emma,” “Sliding Doors” and “Iron Man” is to appear on the May 6 edition of “Ref,” alongside fellow marriage “experts” Jerry Seinfeld and Greg Giraldo.

Comedian Kathy Griffin is using her people-person skills to help some feuding couples on “The Marriage Ref” and ET has an exclusive clip.

Griffin will join “30 Rock” star Tracy Morgan and actor Nathan Lane on the celebrity panel to assist in helping spouses work out their differences by determining who wins the arguments.

Gene Simmons, he of the long tongue and 8-inch high boots, wants to be a judge on NBC’s “The Marriage Ref” he tells Zap2it.

“I would tell all guys to never get married, and all women to get married and divorced as often as they can,” says the front man for KISS, who has has two children with his companion of 25 years, model/actress Shannon Tweed.

The first European deal has been signed for Jerry Seinfeld’s comedy hit The Marriage Ref, with Endemol inking an agreement with Spain’s Antena 3.

Israeli broadcaster Keshet commissioned a ten-part local adaptation of the format. The series also recently landed a second-season order in the U.S. The series further secured second commissions in Australia, Argentina and the Middle East.

A Mayfield Heights couple appeared Thursday night on “The Marriage Ref” on WKYC-TV 3.

Theresa Argie said she and her husband John were contacted by the show’s casting when they saw her profile online and inquired about how her ghosthunting affected her marriage.

“I knew this would be a great opportunity for me to get the word out about my paranormal investigating,” Argie said.

“Maybe reaching some folks who have (needed) help (in the paranormal sense). Just bringing this once taboo topic out into the mainstream.”

“It’s been quite a ride, but I honestly believe that the whole experience has brought us closer together as a couple. I would do it again in a heartbeat,” Argie said.

Coming up Thursday on NBC, “The Marriage Ref” has its first gay couple – two guys from Tampa who are at odds over a life-size Betty Boop statue.

David Salinero thinks Betty is the bomb and wants to keep her in their kitchen.

His partner Michael Wigh says the 5-foot tall replica of the cartoon icon must go.

Salinero, 44, is a managing editor at Price Waterhouse Coopers and Wigh, 46, is a corporate trainer at Progressive Insurance. Both are Tampa area natives.

They have been together for more than six years and were married in California in 2008 when it was legal there.

Salinero says they were contacted last year by a producer from “The Marriage Ref” who saw their four-minute wedding video on YouTube.

At first, Salinero didn’t think of any major disputes to take to “The Marriage Ref” but the issue over Betty had been brewing for sometime.

A film crew visited their home earlier this year to get footage of the Betty Boop artifact, which stands about 5 feet tall. The couple recently went to New York to tape their segment.
